Katy Olesnavage is in her 5th year of graduate school in Mechanical Engineering at MIT. She is a Tata Fellow and a member of Prof. Amos Winter’s Global Engineering and Research (GEAR) Lab. She received her M.S. and her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at MIT in 2014 and 2012 respectively. Her research focuses on mechanical design in highly constrained environments. Katy enjoys playing sports in her free time and is currently the president of the MIT Cycling Club.
